Using iPod to Play Music Together

It often takes years even decades for ordinary people to learn and master some real instruments, like piano or violin. A majority of learners cannot persist in this long-term training and often get bored at the repeated but necessary "basic practice", though they might have huge interest on the sound a certain instrument is producing. It is really a pity that people have to stop before really enjoying the beauty of music just because of the arduous process that they fail to take.

Here's a clip about playing simulated instruments on iPod touch. Different interfaces are designed for different categories of instruments. For example, the Hitter (with which in hand you can shake) allows you to make a drum-like sound and the Tapper (with many buttons on the screen) can mimic a keyboard instrument. These interfaces are not designed to replace real instruments, but to enable those without solid background to play tunes very easily and experience various timbres and playing gestures. With the 3.5 inch commonly-seen mobile device, you can either explore the sounds all by yourself or ask your friends to play with you together. Isn't it fun!
